AMMC purchases conveyors in Germany

23 January 2023, 10:57 1560

The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex purchases 54 conveyors for processing copper ore from Germany.

The mine has ordered a batch of heavy conveyors from AUMUND Fördertechnik, Global Mining Review reports. The order was the largest since the foundation for the equipment manufacturer AUMUND Fördertechnik.

According to Mukhriddin Nuriddinov, the chief technologist of the copper processing plant-3 project, 48 of these apron chain conveyors will be used in the Copper Concentration Plant-3 coarse ore storage, medium crushing and screening areas. The remaining 6 are intended for KKD 1500/180 crushers based on the “Yoshlik I” mine.

Six conveyors will be located at the primary crushers. The remaining belts will serve ore stacks, secondary crushers and secondary screens.

Depending on the purpose, the width of the tape will be from 1.6 to 2.4 meters. The smallest conveyor can transport 714 tons of copper ore per hour, the largest - 6 thousand tons.

For reference. In the summer of 2022, the Finnish “Metso Outotec” signed an agreement with AMMC for the supply of equipment for more than 100 million EUR. Technological equipment supplied by the world leader in sustainable development technologies is intended for use at the “Yoshlik I” field.
